Living on the top floor of an old home on Buffalo's West Side comes with some serious "skinny-stair problems" which forces us to get extra creative with our furniture & accessories. Our home will forever be a work in progress and I wouldn't have it ANY other way!

Our living room has taken on many layouts and we've re-arranged countless times before deciding on this current look! Our small Ikea sleeper sofa has been a lifesaver both in terms of fitting up our very narrow stairs to semi-comfortably hosting overnight guests! The coffee table is a vintage trunk that my sister and I found at a local flea market at the corner of Elmwood and West Ferry and the globe was thrifted! Most accessories come from garage sales, family, Ikea, and cb2.

Meet Art! Our little companion truly makes this corner! Art sits upon a hand-beaded pillow case that I've repurposed (purchased on Etsy). Our orange light is from JC Penney and Vanilla Spice Latte candle is from Buffalo's own Poppy and Park.

Our built-in kitchen hutch has to be one of my favorite features in our home! This hutch is the perfect way to display our dishes, glassware, and accessories in a fun way! Our stainless steel plates, stemless wine glasses, and appetizer plates are from cb2. Buffalo accessories are from the Visit Buffalo Niagara Visitor Center in the Brisbane Building downtown Buffalo, and the handpainted wine glass is from Betsy Lynn Designs based out of Rochester, NY.

Our back hallway is long and narrow but has some of the best light and breeze in the entire house! We've left it pretty bare which allows the Stendig Calendar and exposed brick to do the talking!

Our dining room area is now set up in the back half of the house but recently we've been considering a TOTAL re-do so pictures are limited for now (we will likely do a before and after once this happens)! The hanging lights are my favorite touch and the print is from Society 6.
