Have you heard of CreativeMornings? The Buffalo chapter is only a few months old and, not surprisingly, has already gained an incredible following! I like to describe the event as a once-a-month inspirational kick-start to your Friday and I highly encourage you to check it out. The entire event lasts around an hour and a half with a featured 20-minute talk focused on a monthly theme and takes place at Dig in The Innovation Center. There are endless networking possibilities and there is even time to "pitch" an idea/business/need you may have following the scheduled talk! Let me also say...creatives really know how to throw a breakfast party! The image above is just a fraction of the spread made available to all attendees from this month's discussion on RISK.
CreativeMornings provides an ideal stage to highlight and further inspire all this local good. Because as Dana Ingebretson's poem 'Buffalo' reads, "City of transplants and replants [...] this is our time to move forward." And we can think of no better light in which to explore where we've been, where we're going, and how to get there.
Pro tip: join the CreativeMornings/BUF email list! Talks typically 'sell out' within 2 hours. I should mention here that talks are 100% FREE to attend! Yeah!
The theme for May is yet to be announced but we have been promised a special presentation seeing as the talk is taking place on Friday, May 13th. Hope to see you there!
